Matter Ledger Report
MATTER LEDGER REPORT
Have you ever needed to provide a report to a client detailing how all their payments you received were applied? Firm Options, Inc.’s Matter Ledger Report incorporates the key information from Juris’ Client/Matter Inquiry into a professional report you can send to a client.
This report is unlike any Juris report as you will now be able to view the cash receipt history, invoice history, AR ledger history, and trust ledger history for a specified matter all on the same report!
From the main menu, simply choose a Client ID, and then choose a Matter ID.
The Matter Ledger Report will list the Client.Matter ID and the Client.Matter name; the date the matter was opened; the billing timekeeper and the Status (O-0 = Opened and Unlocked, O-3 = Opened but Locked to Time and Expenses, F-x = Final Billed, C-x = Closed) along with the current balances in WIP, AR, PPD and Trust. It will also list the Inception to Date amounts billed, paid and adjusted broken out by Fees, Costs, Interest/Surcharge.
You will also have the option to include the following four (4) history sub-reports on the main report:
- Cash Receipt History: This summary will list all checks associated with this client/matter deposited via Cash Receipts (providing the Cash Receipt batches have not been Purged from Juris) including the Cash Receipt Batch and Record number used for the deposit, check date, check number, check amount, check payor and will show how the check was applied to either AR, PPD, or Trust.
- Invoice History: This summary will list all bills associated with this client/matter including the date, invoice number, amounts billed and amounts due broken down by Fees, Costs, and Interest/Surcharge.
- AR Ledger History: This summary will list all Accounts Receivable transactions by date, including bills, payments, AR adjustments while also listing the running AR balance.
- Trust Ledger History: This summary will list all Trust transactions associated with this client/matter including receipts, disbursements and adjustments while also listing the running Trust balance.
The Matter Ledger Report is offered on an “As Is” basis for just $175.00. The price includes one of our representatives to WebEx in with your to link the tables to Juris. NOTE: Any modifications to the report will be billable at $190/hr. You will also need to ensure you have a license of Microsoft Access version 2005 (or higher) installed on one of your workstations in order to run the report.
