Accounts Receivable Tools
Within this module, you will have easy access to:
- Easily find and review all unpaid bills for all matters showing the matter contact and bill record details
- Search and sort all the unpaid bills for a specific amount due
- Enter a Check Number used in a Cash Receipt entry to view how the check was applied
- Enter a Bill Number and find which Client/Matter it belongs to
View AR Listing with Matter Contact
- Easily find and review all unpaid bills for all matters showing the matter contact and bill record details
- Search and sort all the unpaid bills for a specific amount due
The results will display in a new window. Once the results appear, you will be able to Right Click in any of the available fields to Sort and/or Filter your results. You also have the ability to Copy and Paste the results from Accounts Receivable Tools into Excel for further analysis and formatting!
Here is a listing of the available fields returned:
- Matter Contact – The matter contact listed on the matter record in Juris
- File No – The client.matter ID from Juris
- Client – The client name
- MatDescription – The matter description listed in Juris
- BillNo – The invoice number
- BillDate – The date of the invoice
- TotalBilled – The original amount billed on the invoice
- Adj – The total credit memo amount recorded to this invoice
- AmtPaid – The total cash receipt amount applied to this invoice
- AmtDue – The total amount remaining in AR on this invoice
- BTkpr – The billing timekeeper listed on this matter
- DaysOld – The number of days this invoice has been in AR
- MatRemarks – The matter remarks listed in Juris
Perform Cash Receipt Lookup by Check Number
- Enter a Check Number used in a Cash Receipt entry to view how the check was applied
The results will display in a new window. Once the results appear, you will be able to Right Click in any of the available fields to Sort and/or Filter your results. Here is a listing of the available fields returned:
- CRCheckNbr – The payor’s check number entered in Juris on the Cash Receipt
- CRBatchNbr – The Cash Receipt Batch the check was posted
- CRRecNbr – The record number you can find the check in the original Cash Receipt Batch
- CRCheckDate – The payor’s check date entered in Juris on the Cash Receipt
- CRCheckAmt – The total amount of the payor’s check entered in Juris on the Cash Receipt
- CRPayor – The payor’s name used when entering the Cash Receipt in Juris
- CRARCsh – The amount applied to the AR Panel in the Cash Receipt in Juris
- CRPPDCsh – The amount applied to the PPD Panel in the Cash Receipt in Juris
- CRTrustCsh – The amount applied to the Trust Panel in the Cash Receipt in Juris
- CRNonCliCsh – The amount applied to the Other Panel in the Cash Receipt in Juris
Perform Client Matter Lookup by Bill Number
- Enter a Bill Number and find which Client/Matter it belongs to
The results will display in a new window. Once the results appear, you will be able to Right Click in any of the available fields to Sort and/or Filter your results. You also have the ability to Copy and Paste the results from Accounts Receivable Tools into Excel for further analysis and formatting!

- BillNo – The invoice number you are looking up
- Date – The date of this invoice
- Client – The client ID associated with this invoice
- CliNickName – The client name associated with this invoice
- Matter – The matter ID associated with this invoice
- MatNickName – The matter name associated with this invoice
- MatterContact – The matter contact listed on the matter record in Juris
- TotalBilled – The original amount billed on the invoice
- AmtDue – The total amount remaining in AR on this invoice
- Adj – The total credit memo amount recorded to this invoice
- AmtPaid – The total cash receipt amount applied to this invoice

NOTE: Any remote assistance, or modifications relating to this module will be billable at $205/hr. You will also need to ensure you have a license of Microsoft Access version 2000 (or higher) installed on one of your workstations.
