Aged Unbilled Costs
AGED UNBILLED COSTS
These reports are important to law firm management as unbilled costs really should not extend more than 90 days, although there may be some exceptions such as family law, probate, and contingency billed files.
Firms need to be aware of costs incurred on behalf of a client but have not yet been billed. Regular review of an Aged Unbilled Cost report will save on write offs, and increase cash flow.
(There are actually three reports in this collection!) You will be able to print the Aged Unbilled Costs Reports by either Billing Timekeeper, by Originating Timekeeper Range or by Client. This report is unlike any Juris report as you will now be able to see the Aged Unbilled Costs (Current, 30, 60, 90, and 120+ days) by the above Timekeeper selections (or by client), by Matter, with the Expense Code Allocation amounts with an option to show the details of the unbilled expense entries.
For any of the above selections, the Aged Unbilled Costs Report will list any matter with Unbilled Expenses, by Timekeeper, by Client/Matter with the Aging columns with an option to show the details! If the Show Details option is checked, the report will include the individual unbilled Expense Entries.
